I have paid an amount of rupees 2000 for airtel net connection on 19.08.2010. The executive has assured me to connection make within three days.now its 31st august ,the connection yet not made , only they are fooling me through entire airtel employ. I have made approx 50 calls.but nothing work. Now i want to my money back but they are still fooling me..

I regret to bring to your notice that I get my balance deducted everyday unnecessary even though I have not subscribed to anything. When I call customer care they say that I have subscribed to their promotional call which I get frequently even though I have I have registered to their DND site. My no. is 9831898956. Please take some necessary immediate action regarding the same.
**Also please note that some of my friends have this same similar complain.

Cheap Telcom trick / 55381 SMS
You will receive unsolicited SMS saying you had subscribed for these services and you complaint to the Airtel Customer Care and they will just register your complaint and then nothing happens.
Hei this is a cheap trick by Airtel to increase their VAS business and blames the third party vendors. Not just Airtel every telecom provider in India does this. Poor fellows in sales when they are pressurised for sales figures they go all th way doing these cheap tricks to enhance their business.
And also please note that all the telemarketing calls you get are with the consent of these telecom providers. The senior officers to the field sales executive sells the number databases in excel sheets.

I am having the Same Problem. I am a Airtel customer (+919810939663, New Delhi) . I registered myself for DND (Do not Disturb) service before 3-4 months, but I still get calls from all Insurance Companies & Private Sector Banks. It is hurting me more, since I m on roaming.
We have a complaint against the pathetic service of HomeTown. We want to cancel our order with them and get our money back. We are not demanding any additional compensation for the lost time and mental turmoil that they have caused us and are only asking us for the money that we paid to them. Please help. i want to bring to your notice that i lost my mobile on 23rd august 2010. after that i called to the customer care and asked to block the incoming and outgoin from my number and then asked the procedure to get a dublicate sim. as per the procedure i went to a service provider and asked for a dublicate sim..they are telling me that they dint get my name in their list to provide a dublicate sim. i have balance credit around 86 rupees and the validity till july 2012. any one can help me in this...???
